Fishers High has a junior quarterback putting together a good season in 6'1, 175-lb Connor Christiansen.
As a sophomore a year ago, Christiasen passed for 12 touchdowns. Through the first part of this season, he already has seven with just one interception.
He has drawn interest from several schools including Kentucky and Mississippi State, and was able to take a visit to Ball State recently, where he saw the Cardinals defeat USF.
"I loved the atmosphere and seeing them play extremely well against a top BCS team was great to see," he said.
On the visit, Christiansen was able to speak with the coaches at Ball State as well.
"I've been in contact with Coach Lynch and the quarterbacks coach, Coach Skrosky. We talked about me being back for a second time and possibly an official visit sometime in the future, and we talked about my junior year and how that's been going."
Having already seen the Cardinals now, Christiansen will soon take a look at another in-state program.
"I've been hearing a lot from Coach Johns at Indiana and will be going to the IU-Wisconsin game on the 10th."
In the classroom, Christiansen carries a 3.0 GPA.
