Rialto (Calif.) Carter defensive tackle Kenneth Clark was the latest player to receive an invitation to represent the South in this year's Cal-State Five-Star Game, held in late December.
Clark, a UCLA commit, was excited to receive the honor in front of his mother and his teammates.
"He was always big and I always knew he would be pretty special; I'm not shocked by his success. The biggest progression I've seen is his maturity, strength, and power. He's only seventeen years old, and I think that's the biggest thing; just seeing how much he's matured," said Lions head coach Alex Pierce, who has coached Clark for the past four years.
After the ceremony, Clark said he was looking forward to joining the Bruins' defense and would not be taking visits to any other schools.
