Jennings Back From Injury
In the fifth game of his junior season, running back E.J. Jennings broke his fibula and tore a ligament in his ankle. Now back to full strength, the senior is excited to show what he can do. "I was down on myself a little bit last year because I couldn't help the seniors win. Now it's my turn to lead this team." The RB says that he tries to model his game after Beanie Wells. "He's just a power runner that is basically unstoppable." Jennings displayed his unstoppable talent when he scored five touchdowns when his Hilliard Davidson (OH) team defeated Upper Arlington (OH) 42-14. "My strength on the field is that I get stronger as the game goes on. It's more of a power thing, but I also have a little bit of speed." Over the summer, he was able to attend show that talent at different camps around the Midwest. "I went to Wisconsin, Toledo and Cincinnati's camps. At these camps, I want the coaches to know I have good footwork for a big guy." The senior has also been in contact with a new school. "I've been talking to Kent State a lot. They have two offers at running back out now, but say I could be the next offer." While he still has a way to go in his recruitment, he has been thinking about what he's looking for in a school. "A good education is the most important thing because you never know what will happen. Football is not forever."
