Jackson Talks Visits
2014 running back Justin Jackson of Glenbard North in Carol Stream, Ill., has had a pretty busy junior season. Glenbard North is on a seven game win streak, and just defeated highly rated Wheaton North 17-5 to keep their eyes on a conference championship by moving to 7-1 on the season. On top of suiting up for Glenbard North, Jackson has offers from Illinois, Purdue, Northwestern, and Boston College -- and just visited Wisconsin. "The visit went well," Jackson said. "The facilities are beautiful and they are renovating even more." There was one thing in particular that really stood out to Jackson. "The weight room is really nice, the atmosphere is crazy and Camp Randall is crazy," Jackson said. "It's a great atmosphere, as a player it is something you love when a city gets behind you like that." As for other schools that are interested? The list goes well beyond the four that have offered. "I have gotten mail from every single Big Ten school, a few ACC schools and some SEC schools," Jackson said. "I have heard from the four schools that have offered me a good amount. Out of the schools that haven't offered me i hear from Vanderbilt the most." Plus, Jackson has another visit coming up soon. "I am going to get to Iowa this weekend for the game against Penn State," Jackson said. "And the week after that I am going to Illinois homecoming the next week." Jackson has several things in particular that he is excited about seeing in Iowa. "I really like to see the campus and stuff because some of my brothers friends say the campus is amazing up there," Jackson said. "And I would really like to see the campus." He continued, "I really like the offense that they run so it will be interesting to see it live, its similar to what we run at Glenbard. I am also looking forward to talking to the coaches too. Hopefully we can start developing a relationship." Saturday's visit may not be the last of the season for Jackson "I might try and get out to a Purdue game," Jackson said. "I have been to a Northwestern game which was really fun. I also would try to make it to a Vanderbilt game maybe, I am just trying to juggle everything around right now."
