South Fort Myers offensive line prospect Joe Gold is one to watch in the class of 2014. He plays right tackle but projects as a center or guard at the next level.

A player to keep an eye on for South Fort Myers high school is Joe Gold. Gold is a junior offensive lineman that coach Grant Readhead believes has a great future.

“He plays right tackle for us but I think the kid can be a great center in college,” Readhead said. “I know South Florida loves him.

"This kid is so physical. He’s more physical than [Joe] Fennell. Joe Gold will bury you. He has that street fighter mentality and he’s good at it.”

Gold is currently 6-foot-3 and 260-pounds. He also plays on the defensive line at tackle.
