Vanderbilt commitment Carlos Burse (6'3/205) of Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta, Ga. is a
big, strong wide receiver who can go up and get a ball, then drag two defensive
backs into the end zone with him.
Burse helped his team put up big numbers in a win against North Forsyth on
Friday. Burse had three touchdowns and 85 yards receiving as he helped
quarterback Joshua Dobbs reach five total touchdowns.
Burse has good body control and strong hands. He can elevate in traffic and
out-muscle nearly all defensive backs. With his long strides, he is deceptively
fast and can run away from defenders in the open field.
