Arden Key (6'4/215) is a sophomore defensive end from MLK High School in
Lithonia, Ga. that will become a national name before his high school career is
done.
Key's quickness off the line is borderline unfair against offensive tackles, and
he has the strength to hold off drive blocks and maneuver through traffic to
make tackles inside. Key lines up at end in MLK's 3-4 defense, but every once in
a while, he slides inside into a defensive tackle position. That he's able to
play all along the defensive line with the quickness of a safety at his size
makes for a lot of mismatches.
Key already claims offers from the likes of Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and UCLA among
others, but it's a safe bet that he'll be able to have his pick of schools if he
continues progressing along the path he's on.
Here is a look at him in action against Dunwoody on 10/12/12.
