Covington Scott has a big junior offensive lineman receiving some collegiate attention in 6'6, 285-lb Corey Fitzwater. He had a chance to take an unofficial visit on Saturday when he went to Ohio State and saw a Buckeye win over Illinois.
"It was awesome," he said. "It was just awesome. I've never seen a game like that. There's nothing like an Ohio State football game."
In addition to seeing the game, Fitzwater had a chance to meet some of the coaching staff as well.
"I talked to one of their coaches, we talked in the recruiting room. We were talking and asking how the season went, and asked me to make sure I get a highlight film in."
Fitzwater has taken one other unofficial visit this year, to Akron, and is just starting to hear from colleges.
"It's not as much as I'd like," he admitted, "but I've gotten a little bit of recognition. Eastern Kentucky sent me something about coming to some of their camps. That's really it."
This season, Fitzwater played guard for Scott. He also wrestles in addition to playing football.
