"I have not taken any visits yet and I have not talked to many coaches on the phone because my cell has been messed up, so things are going a little slow right now."
North Carolina is very close to being full, so the Tar Heels may not have a committable offer on the table for Leonard right now. Leonard is staying patient and waiting to see who could offer late in the process.
"Some schools have told me they are still evaluating me this season and will be in touch after the season. Tennessee has told me that, Georgia is still talking to me a good bit, and a few others too. We will see what happens."
One school has shown consistent interest in the 5-foot-11, 190 pound senior out of Hoganville (Ga.) Callaway and they lead right now.
"USF is the school I like the most right now. I like the coaching staff, I like the interest they are showing, I like how I could fit in there, and I have a lot of interest in them. I want to get down there for a visit after the season."
Although the Bulls are on top of Leonard's list, he is not close to make a decision.
"I am not sure about my decision yet, but I know it will be after the season," he said. "I would still love to get offers from Georgia and Florida State. I really like both of those schools, so I will wait and see what happens.
"I am not worried about it right now though. I know my time will come, so I am being patient. I am just going to keep working."
