Decision Coming Soon for Sanders

Linebacker Tommy Sanders went to work this fall in hopes of showing recruiters from major college programs that he has what it takes to make their teams better. With just over a week before he makes the call, Sanders has one final official visit left to take. A trip to see Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes is on tap for the weekend.

"I am going to Ohio State this weekend," said Sanders. "They have been involved with me for a few weeks now.

"They told me that they need a juco linebacker. They told me that they have some real talented young guys, but they want a guy with some experience to come in and try to be a leader to those guys."

A few weeks back, Sanders visited Mississippi State and Texas A&M. The Bulldogs and Aggies join the Buckeyes in the final three for the talented linebacker.

"It's pretty much just those three now," said Sanders. "I am still in touch with A&M and Mississippi State and both of them are talking pretty good."

The decision making process will soon be coming to a close as Sanders prepares to sign with the school of his choosing later this month.

"I only have two years left to play, so I want to be sure I go somewhere that it feels like a family with all of the players and coaches," said Sanders. "I don't have a top school right now.

"I am going to take my visit to Ohio State and then take a couple of days to think about everything.

"I still plan on making my decision on December 12th to honor my uncle.

"Once I make my decision, then I will just be getting ready to sign."
