After being highly recruited out of high school and holding some scholarship offers, Patrick Ivy is hoping to generate the same interest again now that his time at the College of Dupage is coming to a close.
"I haven't had anybody come through for me and I don't have any contact with any of them," the 6'4, 210-lb quarterback said. "I lost my other phone and all my contacts."
With his size and athleticism, Ivy could project to another position, and he is more than willing to do that.
"This season, I shared reps at quarterback. I was more of a running quarterback, so I would like to go to college as an athlete. As a team, we went to [The Citizen's Bank Bowl]."
Ivy admits, "I haven't played any other positions," but he says he is willing to give up playing the spot he's been playing his entire football life for a shot at the next level.
"Everybody that I went to, they all put me at quarterback, so I just played quarterback all my life, but I really want to play another position because I feel like quarterback is not for me anymore."
He has his eyes on two Midwestern programs as well, but really, is open to anyone that would come along.
"I would like to go to Kansas or Missouri, those are my main two, but I'm just hoping to go anywhere. I just want to play football."
