"Things have been pretty good," said Ryland. "I am enjoying being able to represent the state of Mississippi.
"There is some real good competition out here.
"Playing against each other is making all of us better."
Ryland joins fellow Noxubee County seniors Dylan Bradley and Darrell Robinson on the All-Magnolia State squad.
"It feels good playing one last game with my teammates," said Ryland. "We are sitting back watching other people compete too and not just looking at each other.
"We are all out here getting to be with the best players in the state."
The Macon, Mississippi trio were part of a strong group of seniors who lead Noxubee County to the 4A state title and the overall #1 ranking in the state.
"It feels pretty good," said Ryland of going out on top. "We made a promise to each other back in the spring.
"We wanted to play in three championhships in our careers and we went 16-0 and won the championship this year."
Ryland's football playing days will not end in Montgomery, Alabama after this weekend's contest against the All-Stars from Alabama.
"I am getting recruited by a lot of colleges, but I am undecided," said Ryland. "Jackson State, Alcorn and a lot of jucos have offered me.
"I don't know what I am going to do yet.
"I am just trying to get this win on Saturday."
