In the Booker T. Washington (Miami, FL) 35-7 state title win over Bolles (Jacksonville, FL) quarterback Treon Harris was a force to be reckoned with. The 2014 quarterback rushed for 74 yards and three touchdowns, and passed for 245 yards and two touchdowns. He still has another year left of his high school career. It's no surprise several colleges are already after this play-maker.
Mission accomplished for Thomas
Booker T. Washington (Miami, FL) only allowed Bolles (Jacksonville, FL) seven points in the Florida 4A State Title game. For 2013 linebacker Matthew Thomas, ending his high school career with a win over Bolles - the team that beat Booker T. last season for the title - couldn't have been more perfect. Thomas dominated for the Tornadoes defense and it's easy to see why so many schools want him.
FSU commit wins state title
Michael Johnson's high school career is behind him, but he couldn't have picture a more perfect ending. The 2013 safety and his Booker T. Washington (Miami, FL) won the state 4A title Saturday over Bolles (Jacksonville, FL) - the team that broke their hearts in the title game last season.
