Providence Catholic (Ill.) senior linebacker Brian Fordon has made his decision.

Providence Catholic's Brian Fordon had an outstanding senior season, and career on and off the gridiron, and he is headed to a college which will allow him to capitalize on both his academic and athletic abilities.

"Princeton and Harvard were other choices, but in the end, I felt most comfortable with Dartmouth," Fordon said.

The 6'2, 215-lb Fordon went on many visits, attended several camps, and put himself through all of necessary steps to be recruited. Now, he's simply excited for it to be done.

"The head coach Buddy Teevens came over last week and I was excited to verbally commit to them. It's been a long process and I am glad to have it behind me."

Fordon finished his senior season with 100 tackles (six for loss), five sacks, and four forced fumbles. He was named All-Conference, All-Area, All-State special mention, All-State academic and team MVP.
