Lee is One to Watch
Dontavian Lee profile "I feel like I had a good season this year," said Lee. "I feel like I was a lot more patient this year. "We had a lot of senior lineman, so that helped me a lot. "We had good chemistry and we knew how to play together." Despite a bout with the injury bug, Lee managed to rush for 1,392 yards and 14 touchdowns on just 138 carries. Just to keep the defense honest, Lee was 6 for 6 on pass attempts with five of those completions resulting in scores. "I feel like I did pretty good this season, but I can do better," said Lee. "Not much went wrong for me this year, but I know there are some things I can do better. "I had to deal with my injury, but I feel like I did pretty good." Lee was unable to attend any college football games this fall, but he plans to be very active this next year as he gets to know more about the programs showing interest in signing him. "I like the SEC schools," said Lee. "I like the style of play in the SEC and how every game is a big game. "I like Ole Miss. I have watched them a lot and they seem to be doing pretty good. "I like Mississippi State. I like how they play and how they use their running backs. I know LaDarius Perkins has done real good up there. "I haven't really kept up with Southern Miss, but I am going to be paying attention to them." While Lee still has plenty of time to consider his college future, he knows for sure that he wants to be able to get his hands on the football. "I don't expect to get the ball all of the time, but I want to be part of an offense that likes to run the ball between the tackles," said Lee. "I like playing power football and I like blocking too. "I want to be part of a great offense that scores a lot of points."
