USF landed a talent defensive back from south Florida earlier today in Lamar Robbins from Miami Southridge.

Willie Taggart continues to upgrade the Bulls roster, as he nabbed a talented two-way standout from south Florida in Lamar Robbins from Miami Southridge.

Robbins, 6-foot-3 and 200-pounds, confirmed via text message that he indeed gave his commitment to Taggart and South Florida.

What's so unique about Robbins is his size. He could play cornerback but will likely end up at safety for the Bulls in Tampa.

Robbins committed to USF over Louisville, Purdue and others. He's ranked as a three-star receiver but can also play on the other side of the ball.

More of this commitment later today or tomorrow.
