Three More For Berger
One of the more impressive recruits in Ohio for 2014 is Cleveland St. Ignatius linebacker Kyle Berger, and he is coming off an impressive junior season. Berger, 6-foot-2, 215-pounds, added three offers this week and now holds double-digit offers. He previously picked up offers from Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, West Virginia, among others. "I was offered by Tennessee, Boston College and Maryland this week," Berger stated. "I'm very excited about Tennessee, especially because it's an SEC offer. I'm going to visit Tennessee in late March because my father has a business meeting in Knoxville. This offer makes me want to work harder to get better, because I know there's room for a lot of improvement." "I'm also excited to have an offer from Boston College because my teammate, Kevin Kavalec, is headed there next year," he added. "He invited me to come to their spring game this year and I might do that. I don't know too much about Maryland, but I know they have a good program and I'm grateful to have that offer. I was surprised to be offered by Maryland, because I've never spoken with them at all." FoxSportsNEXT will continue to track Berger over the coming year, and will update his situation as warranted.
