Three JC Prospects Pledge

Glendale CC's Martin Woods & Dallas Nichols and Hi-C Scott from Scottsdale all commit

Western Illinois had a good day in the Grand Canyon State, landing verbal commitments from three Arizona JC prospects.

Glendale CC offensive lineman Martin Woods committed to the Leathernecks over an offer from SEMO.

Woods (6-3 275) was named 1st team All ACCAC and 2nd team All WSFL.

He prepped at Glendale Independence and will have 2 years to play 2.

Woods' JUCO teammate, safety Dallas Nichols has committed to WIU.

Nichols (6-2 200) made 58 tackles and 2 INTs and was also a 1st team all-league selection.

Nichols prepped at Phoenix Central and will have 3 years to play 2.

Scottsdale CC wide receiver Hi-C Scott is the final prospect to commit to WIU today.

Scott caught 23 passes for 370 yards and 4 TDs in 2012. He also averaged 27 yards per kick return.

Scott and Nichols played together at Phoenix Central.
