That play has caught the eye of college coaches, and brought in four offers. Western Michigan was first, and in recent days, Bowling Green, Kent State and Indiana have joined in, with the Hoosiers being his first offer from the Big Ten.
"That was great," Barwick said. "I'd been in communication with Coach Wilson for awhile. I had been down there for camp, been up there for game, and they said they had been watching my film and really like me, like my explosiveness, quickness all that."
Eventually, Barwick hopes to make it to all the schools who have offered him so far.
"I've been to Bowling Green and I'm going to Kent State this Saturday for Junior Day. Bowling Green was very welcoming and the facilities were great. It was good getting to meet with the coaches. Coach Durkin, I was talking with him, he's my recruiting coach and a real nice guy too. I like what's going on down there with the program."
On March 2nd, Barwick will head back to Bloomington for another visit with the Hoosiers as well and says he has no other visits planned after that.
He says he is continuing to keep in contact with other schools who have not offered him yet, but are still recruiting him.
