Polk Talks Purdue Junior Day

Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.) junior wide receiver Cameron Polk visited the Boilermakers on Sunday.

Cameron Polk is a 6'2, 175-lb wide receiver who made the relatively short trip over to Purdue for their junior day on Sunday.

"It was really good," he said of the visit. "Purdue is a great school."

Last season, Polk caught 31 passes for 762 yards and seven touchdowns. His production and upside has already earned him a scholarship offer from UMass.

He is hoping to continue to add offer, and Purdue has made it clear that they have their eye on him.

"They said they were pretty interested and wanted to get me back down there real soon for a spring practice and hopefully an official sometime."

Next up, Polk will continue to take visits and look at prospective schools.

"I'm headed down to Louisville for spring practice on March 23rd. Then I will be visiting Northwestern and Ball State here pretty soon."

Polk reports additional interest from Michigan State, Indiana and others.
