Hartland Arrowhead went undefeated last year and won another state title. With several talented juniors and underclassmen returning, the team should again be one of the favorites.
One of those returnees is Sam Seonbuchner, a 6'2, 215-lb outside linebacker, and one of several juniors drawing college coaches to the school. Recently, he picked up his first offer when he visited Ball State.
"It was really exciting," he said. "I was shocked at first. I visited there and they told me at the end of visit. I didn't believe it when they told me."
In addition to being excited by a first offer coming, it is also exciting for the playmaking backer, because he likes what he has seen of the school.
"Coach Lembo was very welcoming and I love the defensive coordinator, Coach Bateman. He's easy to get along with, he's an outgoing guy, and I like how the campus is compact. It's easy to find everything and easy to get around."
Seonbuchner is hearing from a number of other schools as well.
"I've heard from South Dakota State, North Dakota State, visited NIU, and I went to Minneota's junior day. Coach Zebroskwi told me they really liked my film, keep in touch, and they'll come down in spring and look at me."
Currently, Seonbuchner says he does not have any other visits planned.
