2015 Ohio Prospect: Andrew Dowell

Even though his twin brother David saw more playing time last season at Lakewood St. Edward, Andrew Dowell is also a player of note in Ohio for the 2015 class. The tailback will look to make his mark this season.

Lakewood St. Edward has a loaded roster for the upcoming season, and several of their top prospects are in the 2015 class, including twins David and Andrew Dowell.

While David saw a lot of action last year as a sophomore wideout, Andrew (6-foot, 200-pounds) played sparingly and is ready to assume a larger role as a tailback.

"I'm just looking to prove myself this season as a junior, and I'm ready to compete against anyone," Andrew Dowell stated. "I will go to every camp or combine I can, but it's tough because we play basketball too."> "A lot of the same schools are looking at both David and I, but I didn't play as much as he did last season," he added. "I'm just looking to have a great junior season, and let the recruiting take care of itself."

As an impressive looking player physically, it's no wonder schools are showing interest in Andrew Dowell.

"I've heard from Michigan State, Penn State and Northwestern," he noted. "I plan on going to as many camps as possible this summer, to show people what I can do."

Andrew Dowell recently participated in the Nike SPARQ combine in Massillon, and put up an impressive score of 91.32.
