Alabama, Florida and Notre Dame are not the only teams to take notice of the four star cornerback. Clemson, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, South Carolina and Tennessee are just a few schools trying to get in the mix.
Check out Tabor in action from his Junior season.
Jalen Tabor checks in at 6'1 and 185-pounds from Washington (DC) Edison-Friendship Public Charter high school. He has been impressive at every camp he has attended and found himself in the starting lineup since his 9th grade season. In the Film Room:
Tabor is your proto type corner with excellent size, speed and instincts. Once the ball is in the air he is at his best. Tabor often times plays the ball better than the wide receivers he is covering. He is a natural fit to play cornerback but could also end up as a ball hawk at the Safety position. He has the size and speed college coaches love at any defensive back position. Regardless of physicality or straight cover skills he brings both to the table and more importantly is always looking for ways to improve his game. Jalen Tabor is a five star caliber player that will be a huge addition to one lucky head coach on NSD.
Tabor talked with Scout.com about his game and what he does best.
"Strengths are ball skills, man and zone coverage, high IQ and size and weakness is quickness. I am a player who is going to leave everything on the field. Play like it's my last snap every play and play with a lot of passion and will never quit and will always give 100% effort."
