Drake Harris, a highly regarded wide receiver from Grand Rapids (Mich.) Christian is no longer committed to Michigan State.

Grand Rapids Christian wide receiver Drake Harris decommitted from Michigan State today, confirming the news to Scout, saying "Yeah, I did."

The 6'3, 180-lb Harris committed to Michigan State last June, but his desire to only play football and not basketball as well was the catalyst for looking at other schools. He began doing that in January and made the decommitment official today.

Since announcing he would look around in January, Harris has received offers from Alabama, Ohio State, California, Oregon, Georgia, and several others. He has visited East Lansing for basketball games and visited Michigan the last three weekends.

Harris and Christian are still alive in the state basketball tournament. Stay tuned for more as Scout will be at their game this evening.

Harris is ranked as the number three wide receiver in the country and the 24th overall player.
