Plenty of the Sunshine State's best, and a few from outside Florida, came to compete at the NIKE Football Training Camp in Orlando. Here's a look at who walked away with the MVPs for the day.

Quarterback: Michael O’Connor, IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL); 6-3, 205

The IMG Academy signal-caller had a strong showing in Orlando. O’Connor undoubtedly had one of the strongest arms of the day and threw the ball with accuracy, good spin, and a high release.

Offensive Line: Montel McBride, Plant City (Plant City, FL) 6-4, 305

McBride is a strong interior kid. He’s played mostly defensive tackle in the past, but he’s a true offensive guard at the next level. He’s long, strong at the point of attack, has a big body, and overpowers people.

Wide Receiver: Artavis Scott, East Lake (Tarpon Springs, FL) 6-0, 175

Scott is smooth at receiver and catches everything thrown his way. Nobody was able to slow him down or give him a hard time. He makes it look easy.

Running back: Keith Harrington, Northeast (St. Petersburg, FL); 5-8, 165

Harrigton is more of a spread back. He’s good in space, and may be undersized, but has good speed and better quickness.

Defensive Line: Marquel Winters, Rickards (Tallahassee, FL); 6-3, 220 While Winters doesn’t have the greatest size, he’s very athletic. He’s very quick off the ball and has good speed off the edge.

Linebacker: Greg Miclisse, Bayside (Palm Bay, FL); 6-1, 235

Miclisse has played a lot of defensive end in high school and rushed the quarterback, but he’s more of an inside backer in college. He showed good balance and wasn’t overly aggressive in the drills. He’s fairly athletic, but he’s powerful.

Defensive back: Kyle Gibson, Armwood (Seffner, FL) 6-0, 165

The Armwood safety is certainly not afraid of contact. He showed great closing speed, the ability to play in coverage, and to pick things up quickly.

SPARQ MVP: Lonnie Marts III, Harvest Community (Jacksonville, FL) 6-2, 195

Marts goes to a very small school and he plays all over the field there. The running back and outside linebacker is a good athlete and has long arms. He could project at outside linebacker, but also took reps at defensive tackle at the NIKE camp.
