A number of top prospects from the Midwest and a few from other states like Missouri, Ohio, Indiana, and even as far as Florida and Georgia will descend upon Allendale, Michigan for Sunday's event.

Last year's Adidas Invitational gave us an early opportunity to see many of the Midwest's top prospects. Many who we saw there ended up signing with major schools like Jaylon Smith (Notre Dame), James Onwualu (Notre Dame), Jon Reschke (Michigan State), Jourdan Lewis (Michigan), C'Sonte York (Michigan), David Dawson (Michigan), Reggie Spearman (Iowa), Johnny Daniels (Purdue), Joe Mathis (Washington) and others.

This year should be more of the same as the roster is full of players who already have offers and a couple who have already committed.

Detroit Cass Tech (Mich.) cornerback Damon Webb, a national top 50 player is committed to Ohio State, and Minneapolis Washburn (Minn.) running back Jeff Jones is committed to Minnesota. At one point, Southfield (Mich.) defensive end Lawrence Marshall was committed to Ohio State, but has since opened his recruitment back up and has offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Mississippi and others.

Chanhassen (Minn.) offensive tackle Frank Ragnow is a big man we are excited to see as he has two BCS offers (Minnesota, Florida State) and looks good on tape. Fellow Minnesota product J.C. Hassenauer had a strong U.S. Army Combine and has since added a Minnesota offer. Berrien Springs (Mich.) offensive tackle Nick Padla has an early offer from Akron. Joining them on the offensive line will be sophomore Kyonta Stallworth, from South Lake (Mich.), who already has a UCLA offer. Rock Summit (Mo.) junior Tanner Hagemen is a 6'5, 275-lb youngster with ability and is still looking for his first offer.

Other than Marshall on the defensive line, these players will have to contend with Ft. Wayne (Ind.) South Side's Nathan Braster, an athletic 6'5, 235-lb prospect who just received his first offer from Ball State, South Lake (Mich.) product Jalen Dingle, who has a couple offers, and Cass Tech sophomore defensive end Joshua Alabi, who holds early offers from Michigan and Michigan State. Minneapolis Washburn junior Clayton Burton was hurt last year, but is an intriguing prospect at 6'4, 235-lbs. Cretin Derham Hall's Jashon Cornell is a dynamic sophomore pass rusher who will be one of the Midwest's top recruits in the 2015 class and already has three offers.

The quarterback position will be lead by Cass Tech sophomore Jayru Campbell, who holds a number of early offers from BCS programs. Two juniors from the Ft. Wayne area, Dwenger's Michael Fiacable, and Concordia's David Morrison are ones to watch, and Warren De La Salle's Givonanni Rescigno has the size (6'4, 210-lbs) and arm strength, and will look to take the next step at the camp. Muskegon Mona Shores sophomore Tyree Jackson is another young guy to watch for.

They will have some talented receivers to throw to like Alpharetta (Ga.) Chattahoochie's Colin Lisa, who has two offers and had a great camp up in Michigan last summer. Detroit King's Avonte Maddox is a blazer with a couple of offers and interest from some major schools. Southfield's Ray Buford is a speedy sophomore with interest from several schools already.

The defensive backs are strong though, lead by the Michigan contingent of Webb, Jalen Embry, Tim Cason, and Dillon Dixon, who all have offers. Atlanta Lassiter's Chris Murphy has 14 total offers including Oklahoma State, North Carolina and Vanderbilt. Ft. Wayne South Side's Donovan Clark has an Indiana offer along with several others. Reggie Rogers, Tymeon Ollison and Steven Mosley are all coming in from Ohio and looking to impress. Minnesota product Tim Gordon has an early North Dakota offer and interest from a large group of schools.

Watch out for Sickles High (Fla.) corner Ray Ray McCloud, who is coming all the way up from the Sunshine State and folks who have seen him say the sophomore is destined for big offers.

His teammate Ermon Lane is another sophomore who is part of a strong group of running backs. Detroit Cass Tech's sophomore Mike Weber holds several BCS offers. Jones, the Minnesota commit is an early four-star who had plenty of BCS interest and offers. His teammate, Raymonte Maynard rushed for over 1,000 yards and 14 touchdowns last year and Springfield (Mo.) sophomore Alec Murphy is big (6'1, 205) and has BCS ability. Cretin Derham Hall freshman Brison White is a young guy with a bright future.

The linebackers will have their hands full, but they are a strong group. Carl Fuller of Detroit King has several offers as does Cass Tech's William White and Gary Hosey, who is also being recruited as a one-back/fullback. Fort Wayne North Side's D'Marcus Moon is a physically imposing, strong player who has done with at several other events. Warren De La Salle's Jared Wangler has one offer and is a kid we believe will add more as the process moves along. U of D Jesuit's Parris Bennett also has several offers already. Morgan Park (Ill.) junior Tahje Hartley has nice size and athleticism. Also watch out for Drue Tranquill from Fort Wayne Carroll. He's a big safety who may play linebacker in college and we are very surprised he has not picked up a first offer yet.
