Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure athlete Davonte Nunnery (5-11, 184), is still waiting for his first offer, but a few Pac-12 schools are interested.
“I’m hearing the most from UCLA, Arizona State and Washington right now,” said Nunnery. “I also like Michigan, Oregon and USC.”
Nunnery was visiting Arizona State this week with teammate Bryce Dixon and has previously visited UCLA.
“I think Arizona State will probably be my first offer because they seem to be the most interested in me,” said Nunnery. “I went to the UCLA game against Arizona and I like UCLA too.”
Nunnery plays on both sides of the ball, but thinks defense is his calling card.
“I’m getting recruited as an athlete right now, but I could play wherever on the field,” said Nunnery. “I like corner or free safety and I’d definitely like to play in the secondary.”
Academically, Nunnery has a 3.0 and will take the SAT in the spring.
