"I had talked to Drew Mehringer who is the offensive line GA last month. He was talking to me about a preferred walk on spot," he explained.
"I told him I couldn't do that because I currently hold offers from other schools, Even though I've dreamed about playing for OSU, to pass up getting my school paid for wouldn't be a wise choice. I've worked too hard to get to this point."
On Wednesday, he had a chance to come to Columbus, see practice, and speak with the coaches further about where things go from here.
"When I was there Mr. Greg Gillum, he told me that they would like me to come to come to the camp on June 21st. He said that there would be better competition there for me so they could get a better evaluation, so I will continue to keep working on and off the field until then. Coach Warriner said he is still following me and my offers, and wants to see me at camp to further evaluate me."
Beyond just that talk, Harmon says he enjoyed getting to watch the team practice.
"They really paid attention to detail. It was very fast paced compared to any of the other practices I've been to, extremely physical and very smart football. The work ethic of the offensive line stood out."
