Quarterbacks from 11 different states are expected and some top talent will be there to compete.
Peach State Presence
The camp is in Georgia and plenty of Georgia talent will be there.
Two quarterbacks in the Scout 300 out of Georgia are Clemson commitment Deshaun Watson and Tyler Harris, both will be there Friday. Watson led Gainesville to the state championship in 2013 and he had close to 5,000 yards of total offense. He has schools coast to coast still pursuing him. Harris recently pulled in offers from Alabama and Mississippi State and many schools are still evaluating him.
Plenty of other Peach State quarterbacks will be in attendance including Cole Garvin, Brooks Barden, Nick Fitzgerald, Elijah Staley, Stephen Collier, and Price Wilson. All are Division 1 quarterback prospects and many already have offers.
Queen has already been talked about as a top 2015 prospect in Georgia and he has recently picked up an offer from North Carolina. Byrd is a very good freshman that has been evaluated by Scout at a couple of camps already this spring.
Close to Home
D.J. Gillins burst onto the scene at this event a year ago and he now has some nice offers. He will return to Buford this weekend and Scout has high expectations. He comes from a small school in Jacksonville, Fla., but he competed at a high level in 2012.
Zack Darlington guided Apopka to a state title in 2012 and this gamer is ready to show he is among the best in the country. He is a dual-threat quarterback and when he gets in the zone, he is as sharp as anyone as a passer.
Chase Litton, Sean White, and Marvin Zanders are three other signal callers out of the Sunshine State that enter this event with offers. Litton had a good showing at the Orlando Nike Football Training Camp, White was arguably the top quarterback at the Miami Football Training Camp, and Zanders is an athletic quarterback who recently picked up an offer from Duke.
Plenty of States Represented
Kendrick Doss is a quarterback out of Alabama who can run and throw. He is built like a linebacker and he is a very streaky passer.
Jalan McClendon will travel down to Georgia from North Carolina and he claims offers from schools like East Carolina, North Carolina State, and Wake Forest. Plenty of other schools are showing interest including Florida State, Georgia, and North Carolina.
Two of the top signal callers in Tennessee will be there Friday in A.J. Long and Austin Herink. Long has already committed to Syracuse and Herink is hearing from numerous ACC and SEC schools. He took over last fall for Pittsburgh signee Chad Voytik.
