Brandon Wells put the first wheel on the Mississippi State recruiting wagon for the 2013 signing…
Wells on the Mend
Brandon Wells profile "I am looking forward to going up there for the spring game," said Wells. "My mama, my two brothers, my cousin and my girlfriend are going with me. "They have all been up there before, but this is the first time everybody has gone together. "It's going to be a good time and I am ready to see how they do in the spring game." Wells plans to report to Starkville on June the 6th, which will be a few weeks after he expects to be back to 100% health. "I just had surgery on my knee last month. I am recovering now," said Wells. "They just went in and did a scope, so I am going to be good. "I am supposed to be cleared sometime next month. "I am ready to get back on the field and start playing football. "I am going to work hard to see if I can play some as a true freshman." Wells has the speed that college recruiters covet, which makes him a more versatile prospect. With reporting date under two months away, Wells is still unsure which side of the football he will be lining up on. "I am not sure if I am going to play receiver or safety, but it really doesn't matter to me," explained Wells. "I just want to help the team and I just want to play. "They haven't really told me what position they want me to play. I guess we'll figure that out once I get up there."
