Robinson is looking around
JoJo Robinson remains committed to Florida State, but he'll be exploring his options moving forward. "I'm looking into LSU, Florida, Georgia, Miami, USC, Arkansas, and West Virginia," he said. "I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do, so I'm just staying committed for now." One of the early favorites for Robinson is LSU. He said he talks to Head Coach Les Miles often and plans to visit Baton Rouge for another visit this summer. "LSU likes me a lot, they want me to come up there. LSU is one of my favorite schools," Robinson said. "LSU has been my favorite since I was small. One of my favorite colors is purple. It's in the SEC, the SEC gets you ready for the National Football League. They put a lot of people in the League. They're a very good program, always top-ranked, their facilities are amazing, and they play true freshmen. That's what I want to be, a true freshman starter in college football." LSU isn't the only program after the 6-foot, 175-pound athlete. "Florida has been very very interested in me, along with Miami and USC, but Florida's been at me hard," he said. Robinson holds offers from Miami and USC and is hoping the Gators offer this spring. In addition to LSU, he hopes to visit USC this summer and like what the Trojans have to offer. "USC is an extraordinary program, it's a good program for a receiver, and they just do what they do," he said. While he was recruited by FSU as a wide receiver, some have projected Robinson to play corner at the next level. He intends to remain committed to the Seminoles for now, but said he may decommit all together in the near future. "I'm going to keep my options open until Signing Day. Signing Day is when I'll make my decision," Robinson said. "The biggest factors are me being able to play as a true freshman, the atmosphere of the school, if I feel comfortable and feel like I'm at home. I don't want to feel homesick. I want to be comfortable playing at the program and be able to get on the field early, to be able to compete for a starting spot." With plenty of time until Signing Day 2014, FOX Sports NEXT will keep you covered on the latest with JoJo Robinson and his recruitment.
