Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops made recruiting the state of Ohio one of his top priorities shortly after being hired. Saturday saw Stoops land two more commitments for his 2014 recruiting class, and both are from the Buckeye state.

Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats struck gold twice in Ohio on Saturday, receiving commitments from Westerville South tight end Darryl Long, and Youngstown Christian defensive end Tymere Dubose.

The 6-foot-6, 250-pound, Dubose has only played football for one year, but certainly impressed college recruiters. In addition to Kentucky, he held offers from Michigan State and West Virginia.

"Tymere has committed to Kentucky," Youngstown Christian assistant coach Nick Wagner stated. "He actually committed to Kentucky Thursday evening and we were going to wait and announce it next Wednesady, but we have decided to not have a press conference."

Kentucky now has five commits in the 2014 recruiting class, and every member is from the state of Ohio. In addition to Dubose and Long, the Wildcats have pledges from Mikel Horton, Thaddeus Snodgrass and Dorian Hendrix.
