Schools stopping to see junior offensive lineman Drew Broughton are seeing a bigger, better version of the one who played this season, thanks in part to his training at All Pro Sports, where he was at on Tuesday working out.
"I ended the season at 255 and I'm 275 right now."
Currently with one offer from Massachusetts, he has had quite a few coaches in the halls during this spring evaluation period.
"Indiana's been through twice, Purdue's been through, Louisville's been through, Stanford's came in, Iowa was in, Centarl Michigan, Toledo, Western Michigan and Bowling Green and Kentucky are supposed to be in sometime in the next few weeks."
Camp season will be important for Broughton to generate more interest and potentially add to his offer list.
"I'm deciding between [camps at] Indiana and Purdue, Iowa, Louisville, and potentially Michigan State or Wisconsin. Indiana and Iowa both talked that, as soon as we get done with camp they will let me know, but just want to see how I do there. Purdue's been similar, but less talk of an offer. They just want to see how I do at camp."
Broughton also wants to get a good look at UMass, the first school to offer him.
"I have not been out there yet, but I talk pretty regularly with the offensive line coach and I'm hoping to make an east coast visit, so I'm hoping to get out there to UMass."
