Flint Carman Ainsworth (Mich.) junior wide receiver-defensive back Brandon Walker landed his first offer on Thursday. He talks about it here along with his camp plans.

On Thursday, Kent State became the first school to offer Flint Carman Ainsworth junior Brandon Walker, a special moment for the 6'0, 175-pound prospect.

"It felt great," he said. "I had worked hard for the opportunity to come and it's finally here and I just want to work harder for more offers to come."

The Golden Flashes offered Walker as a wide receiver, but he also excelled at safety as a junior and some schools are looking at him there.

"Central Michigan is recruiting me for DB and I think that's about it," he said.

He says he has no current plans to visit Kent State, but does have several camps he will be attending in the month of June.

"Eastern Michigan, Michigan State, Toledo, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, and I plan to go to Indiana and Ball State."
