The 6-foot, 180-pound athlete is a capable player on both sides of the ball. "Snoop" is a pure play maker whether it's with the ball in his hands or on the defensive side – a spot where he prefers.
"I prefer to play corner," said Johnson. "But if they want me to play both ways, I'll go out there and do it."
Johnson played varsity for the first time last season and he felt like he had a solid debut for his team.
"For my first varsity season, I think I played overall pretty good. I think I came out with high determination and I was striving for every win," he said.
Johnson has been flying under the radar quite a bit at this point, but a few schools have recognized him and are evaluating.
"Kentucky's Offensive Coordinator (Neal Brown) has talked to me. The coaches from Western Kentucky have been sending a lot of mail. I've got a couple of schools interested," he said.
Johnson hasn't gotten any offers, but he's hoping to show his abilities this summer at some camps that he's been invited to.
Johnson also has three programs who he would like to hear more from.
