Nicholson: NFTC Wide Receiver MVP

Monroeville (PA) Gateway four-star safety Montae Nicholson competed last Sunday at the Nike Football Training Camp in Columbus. He showed off his versatility by competing at wide receiver, earning the position MVP award and an invitation to "The Opening."

Montae Nicholson is currently ranked as a four-star prospect, and the number-11 safety in the country. The Monroeville (PA) Gateway athlete competed last weekend at the Nike Football Training Camp in Columbus.

Nicholson, 6-foot-3, 205-pounds, worked out as a wide receiver at the NFTC, and walked away with the MVP for that position group. Although he wants to play defense at the next level, Nicholson stated he would be open to playing both sides of the football.

He currently holds over 25 offers, including Florida State, Miami of Florida, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Penn State, Stanford and West Virginia.
