Bulldogs One Win Away from Omaha

Charlottesville, Va.-- Mississippi State is one win away from Omaha after beating Virginia 11-6 in the 2013 NCAA Charlottesville Super Regional. The team talked to the media after the win.

Mississippi State collected 20 hits to grab an 11-6 win over Virginia and take a 1-0 lead in the 2013 NCAA Charlottesville Super Regional Saturday. Those 20 hits are a season high for Mississippi, but also the most hits the Cavaliers have allowed all year.

The Bulldogs improve to 47-18 and Virginia falls to 50-11.

The two teams meet again Sunday night, with first pitch set at 7 p.m..
