Ohio State broke ground on Ray Buford playing corner and that has lead to the first two offers for the 5'11, 170-pound prospect from Southfield.
"I think I did pretty well for my first time playing corner at a camp," he said of the Buckeyes, "and they said they want to bring me back down on the 21st and get a better look at me, hopefully I can get an offer there."
"It felt very very good. I'm excited and just thankful. They came straight out and said they wanted to offer me a scholarship and they really like me."
On switching from wide receiver to corner, Buford says, "Yeah, I've got to. That's what they want me for."
He now embarks on a camp swing where he hopes to add additional offers.
Those schools will have to compete with a growing number of schools recruiting Buford.
