The final MVP Camp recently took place at Northview High School and a number of top prospects competed. See who took home awards here...

Northview High School was a great host and the camp ended about 30 early due to the severe weather around, but for about four hours, many prospects competed, learned, and showed their ability as football players.

Here are the prospects that took home awards:

Top Overall Performer
Michael   Jones - 5-11/270 - Lovejoy - 2014
Jones really dominated the competition at this event. He showed great balance, nice punch, and he stoned many defensive linemen he went up against in the 1on1 session.

Top Underclassman
Jarvis Terrell - 5-7/160 - Carrollton - 2016
He had five clocks on him in the 40 yard dash and all five were between 4.39-4.41 seconds. This kid is fast, very fast and very elusive.

Top Quarterback
Gabe Tiller - 6-1/171 - Archer - 2015
Tiller threw with touch and accuracy throughout this event. He throws a very catchable ball and he put it where it had to be.

Top Running Back
Elijah Holyfield - 5-11/191 - Woodward Academy - 2016
Holyfield may have a breakout season in 2013. He transferred to Woodward Academy from Sandy Creek and he will be their guy. He is strong, he makes quick cuts, and he has 4.6 speed in the 40 yard dash.

Top Wide Receiver/Tight End
Preston Williams - 6-4/185 - Lovejoy - 2015
Williams is long and athletic. He showed great body control, that second gear to chase the ball down, and very strong hands. He will have many offers.

Top Offensive Lineman
Torey Thomas - 6-2/294 - Newton - 2014
This could be a sleeper you hear more about in the coming months. He could play center or guard on the next level. He has great lowerbody level, he was strong in the drill, and dominant in the 1on1 session.

Top Defensive Lineman
Brentavious Glanton - 6-2/256 - Monroe - 2015
Glanton was always first to go in each drill, he was hungry, and his performance was strong. He showed good feet, he has great upperbody strength, and he could be an end of tackle on the next level. Expect him to appear on many radars in the coming months.

Top Linebacker
Chandler Ector - 5-9/185 - Cedar Grove - 2014
Ector will not play linebacker on the next level, but at this event, he shined there. He is undersized, but he is very quick, he covered well, and he blazed through the drills.

Top Defensive Back
Deantre Turman - 5-11/164 - Creekside - 2015
Creekside seems to always represent at the MVP Camp and this time was no different. There were plenty of good defensive backs there, but Turmans combination of speed, ball skills, and feet helped him take home this award.
