Snodgrass Ready for The Opening
The journey from young football prospect to The Opening takes many different roads for players across the country. For Springfield (Ohio) wide receiver Thaddeus Snodgrass the trip solidifies the work he's done up to this point in his career. "It's an honor and very amazing that I was selected for The Opening," said Snodgrass. "I've very excited about this and it means a whole lot because only the Top 150 players get to go out there. "It's an honor to represent my high school and the state of Ohio at The Opening. But I'm trying to stay within myself and just play the way I've been playing." Snodgrass recently returned to the campus of Kentucky for a summer camp session that only ingrained his feelings of being a future Wildcat. "I went down for camp and worked out in the morning," Snodgrass explained. "They taught me some of the routes and how they'll use me in the offense. I was very exciting as I got a chance to see how the coaches are very hands on." Another reasons Snodgrass spent time on campus was to help pull in more prospects to the growing Wildcats recruiting class. "We all were just trying to get guys down to campus," he said. "We feel once they are on campus we can get them." Will Snodgrass be looking to recruit others to Big Blue Nation when he's at The Opening? "Yes sir," he said. "I'll be looking to add some more top players to our class when I'm out there." Scout.com and FOXSportsNEXT.com will have complete coverage of The Opening from start to finish.
