Cam Cheuvront had a chance to go and camp with a few programs this spring and summer. After his work, he believes he has the attention of some colleges and has improved as a player.
"I think I'm slowly showing my abilities and the college coaches have noticed," Cheuvront said. "I've learned a lot at camps and the college coaches have helped me improve my game. I've learned so much," he continued.
At this stage, there's a single offer on the table, but there are other programs that could be on the cusp of making an offer.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound prospect boasts a solid sub 4.5 forty (4.35 was best time), but he's not just a speed wide out.
"I feel like I have great hands with exceptional speed. I'm good at attacking the ball in the air and using my speed after the catch," said Cheuvront.
"I've improved my strength and my speed is better. I have the ability to get open and I can catch the ball in a crowd," he finished.
Cheuvront had 770 yards receiving last season and hopes to better that as well as help lead Somerset to a state championship.
