At 6'5, 275-pounds, Kettle Moraine High School's Ian Dretzka has the size to play at the next level and has caught the eyes of colleges after what he did last season.
"For me personally, it was good," he said of his 2012 campaign. "The team was alright."
Dretzka manned the all important left tackle spot, but could project to other offensive line positions. He is beginning to hear from a few schools and had a chance to camp this summer.
"[I heard from] Arkansas, Michigan came to see me, Wisconsin talked to me and I had a meeting with Whitewater. I went to Wisconsin and that went great that's why they talked to me and Whitewater was the same."
That camp with the Badgers allowed Dretzka to not only get himself on their recruiting radar, but also improve as a player.
"I loved it and it was a great experience because I learned a lot more up to date technique."
With the season fast approaching, Dretzka knows he will have an opportunity to further impress the Badgers,
"They thought I was a senior and said I had a great chance in the class of 2014, but since I'm a junior, they would really like to see my film after this year."
