Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure defensive end Jase Franke is headed to play in the Pac-12.
The three-star committed to Colorado on Monday.
"I did commit (to Colorado)," said Franke. "It just seemed right and their program is rising.
Franke was in Boulder this weekend, checking out the campus and the team in fall practice.
"The campus is incredible," said Franke. "We're flying back now."
Franke said that head coach Mike MacIntyre was happy to hear the news of his commitment.
He was excited.
Franke said that the Buffs plan to use him as a defensive end and as a defensive tackle.
He chose the Buffs after being offered by Arizona, Miami (Ohio) and San Jose State.
