He has the athleticism and lateral ability to play DE in high school and really gets after it to make plays happen behind the line of scrimmage. Shows good speed and quickness for a big man in the trenches and has a frame that looks small, but isn't. Is strong and uses his hands and power to disengage from blockers and continue his rush. No. 286 Peyton Newell - DT - Hiawatha (Kan.) Sr
Plays as a stand up rusher in high school, using his combination of superior size and speed to put pressure on the offenses. He makes a bunch of plays behind the line of scrimmage and shows good burst and explosion when doing so. He is a sound tackler. It is tougher to give an honest evaluation of his actual skills and techniques on the interior, because he does not play there, but you know he will disrupt and fire in to gaps.
