We will check in with one of the biggest risers in the Midwest over the summer, Carroll's Drue Tranquill. A high school safety, the 6'2, 210-pound Tranquill is a great athlete who projects to linebacker in college. Currently committed to Purdue, Notre Dame recently offered and he visited South Bend. We will also be watching young brother Justin Tranquill, a junior running back-safety who has an early offer from Toledo.

Friday: Indianapolis (Ind.) Decatur Central vs. Indianapolis (Ind.) Franklin Central 7:00 p.m.
We travel to Indianapolis with the Ohio prep season opening up next week to check out three-star offensive tackle Lukayus McNeil of Decatur Central. At 6-7, 270-pounds, McNeil has seen several programs take serious notice of him throughout the summer. Programs in hot pursuit include North Carolina State, Indiana, Michigan State, Purdue, Cincinnati and many others as McNeil could be a player to see his ranking rise in the coming months.

Friday: Indianapolis (Ind.) Cathedral vs. Indianapolis (Ind.) Ben Davis 6:00 p.m.
Two of the top teams in Indianapolis square off at Lucas Oil. Cathedral features four-star Ohio State commit Terry McLaurin at receiver and Ball State commit Zach Saum at tight end. We will also be watching junior offensive lineman Jared Thomas closely. Ben Davis has two athletic juniors in 6'4 wide receiver Montel Swanson and linebacker Asmar Bilal. Quarterback Kyle Castner and 6'6 wide receiver Brennan Giles complete their strong 2015 class. Senior running back Jamie Akin is also being recruited by several schools.

West side features two of the top receivers in the Midwesst in Ohio State commit Lonnie Johnson and cousin Jon Vea' Johnson who holds several offers. Throwing to them will be junior Ramone Atkins.

Friday: Triton Central (Ind.) vs. Park Tudor (Ind.) 7:00 p.m.
Park Tudor has one of the top juniors in the Hoosier State in 6'5, 265-pound defensive tackle Brandon Tiassum, who earned an offer from Indiana over the summer.
Sam Webb - Go Blue Wolverine
Friday: Muncie (Ind.) South vs. Yorktown (Ind.) 7:30 p.m.
Yorktown junior quarterback Riley Neal is a good sized (6'5, 200) passer who had a good couple of summer stops including Michigan this year and the Wolverines are looking closely at him.

Friday: Madison (Ky.) Southern vs. Rockhurst (Ky.) 7:00 p.m.
The Midwest's top junior is Southern running back Damien Harris, a speedster who is committed to Michigan. His teammate, safety-linebacker Aaron Sipple is also beginning to receive increased college interest.
