Oregon Top 15 is
led by a Scout 300 prospect who's headed out of state.
Stanford commit Joey Alfieri, a four-star linebacker from Portland (Ore.)
Jesuit, had a terrific offseason to seal his spot at the top.
"Joey Alfieri saw his stock rise as much as just about any player out West this past spring/summer,"
said national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins. "Alfieri has the size and athleticism to be a major impact player at the next level and if he has the dominant season in pads that he had over the summer, he could wind up the top outside backer prospect in the West region."
Just behind him is Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic defensive lineman Connor Humphreys, who's committed to Arizona State.
At third is another Jesuit prospect in tight end/defensive end Henry Mondeaux,
the only player in the top five that hasn't yet committed.
Beaverton (Ore.) Southridge receiver Jordan Morgan, an Arizona commit, is
fourth and Corvallis (Ore.) Crescent Valley athlete Tanner Sanders, who's
committed to the hometown Beavers, ranks fifth.
