FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Sony Michel walks around American Heritage with a UGA backpack on his back. All knows he is a Dawg and he is proud of that...

Sony Michel got off to a good start in 2013 when he averaged almost 11 yards per carry against Cypress Bay in week zero. He finished with over 130 yards and two touchdowns despite being limited due to cramps.

Michel plans to take his talents to the University of Georgia once his job at American Heritage in Plantation, Fla. is complete.

The 5-foot-11, 205 pound running back plans to be in Athens in a week and a half to see the Dawgs host South Carolina. That may be his official visit to UGA.

Michel talks about Athens, what it feels like to be a Dawg, how he will be watching the UGA offense closely this season, and much more in this interview with Scout.

Chad Simmons is currently a National Recruiting Analyst for FOX Sports/Scout. He started with Scout in 2003 and then moved on to another Recruiting Service from 2004-2008 before returning to Scout the first of 2009 to become South Recruiting Manager.
