Nation's No. 2 picks 'Bama

America's No. 2 player in the class of 2014, Cameron Robinson, announced his commitment to Alabama on national television Wednesday.

After years of courting from arguably two of the nation's top teams -- Alabama and LSU -- Cameron Robinson was ready to end the process on Wednesday as he announced his commitment.

"For the next four years, you'll see Cameron Robinson at the University of Alabama," he said on ESPNU while at the podium at West Monroe (La.) High School.

Scout's No. 1 offensive tackle prospect and No. 2 overall talent in the entire class cited the 'Bama coaching staff and comfort as the reasons he chose the nation's top team.

"Alabama's a great program. Every time I was in Tuscaloosa, I was able to talk to Coach [Nick] Saban, Coach [Billy] Napier and Coach [Mario] Cristobal every time," Robinson added. "I have a great relationship with all of them. That's what I truly based my decision on.

"...Roll Tide baby!"

The five-star is the 20th verbal commitment for Alabama in the class of 2014, and it propels Nick Saban's team to the top of's team recruiting rankings.
