An in-depth look at some of the top week two match ups featuring Oklahoma State commits...

GAME OF THE WEEK:

Saturday: Jenks (Okla.) High vs. Euless (Texas) Trinity at Southlake's Dragon Stadium at 8:00 p.m.

?Jenks got beat in the first game last year by DeSoto and then turned up the intensity and never looked back on it's march to a 2012 State Championship. The defense is led by a duo of top-notch safeties. Top 300 recruit Steven Parker, who has an abundance of offers, and Oklahoma State commit Dylan Harding. Don;t forget about Class of 2015 defensive tackle Marquis Overton, who is a beast up front. Overton will get his test, as the Euless Trinity offensive front is loaded, as usual, led by Texas commit Patrick Vahe and Oklahoma State commit Lemaefe Galea'i. They are not the only D1 kids on the Trinity roster. Keep an eye on Class of 2016 defensive lineman, Chris Daniels, a 6-foot-4, 260-pound transfer from Michigan.

LOOKING FOR SECOND WIN:

Saturday:  Tulsa (Okla.) Union vs. DeSoto (Texas) High at Southlake's Dragon Stadium at 4:00 p.m. CST

?Interesting match-up between traditional powers. DeSoto is rated as the No. 11 team in the FOX Sports Top 50 and is fresh off of a 46-7 stomping in week one. They have BCS talent all over the field, but are led on defense by fiery play maker Nick Orr, who had a major game one year ago in the same kickoff classic series against Jenks. Also interested to see freshman phenom Tristen Wallace. This will be Union's first 2013 game. A tough one out of the gates, but they have talent as well. They will feature a pair of Oklahoma commits in wide receiver Jeffery Mead and tight end Carson Meier.

Thursday: #18 Katy (Texas) at Houston (Texas) Alief Taylor at 7:00 p.m.

One of the best match ups in the area sees two undefeated teams vying for their second win of the season. The Katy Tigers kicked off their season with a 41-3 win over Klein (Texas), and will face a Lions' team that defeated Bellaire 22-9 in week one.

Katy is a traditional Texas powerhouse and the roster contains a number of prospects with Division-I offers, including three-star linebacker Jake Blomstrom (Rice offer), tight end Logan Lister (Rutgers commit), tight end Sloan Spiller (UTEP commit), and three-star defensive lineman Tim Wilkerson (Washington State, Texas State, and Toledo offers). 2015 running back Rodney Anderson, a four-star prospect, has committed to Texas A&M.

Taylor has its own share of talent, including a pair of four-star Oklahoma State commits: defensive back Chris Hardeman and ride receiver Keenen Brown. Three-star safety Josh Kalu holds offers from programs including Colorado, Duke, Houston, Nebraska, SMU, and Washington State, and receiver Romelio Brooker has been offered by the likes of Houston, ULM, New Mexico, Rice, Texas State, and UTSA.

EAGER TO BOUNCE BACK:

Thursday: Houston (Tex.) Cy Creek vs. Houston (Tex.) Klein Oak at 7 p.m.

This North Houston matchup is one that usually ends up being quite competitive. Oak is coming off a close loss last week while Creek starts its season this week. Up front for Creek, offensive tackle Elijah Rodriguez (Colorado commit) leads the way. On the other side with Oak, plenty of talent to go around. Quarterback Jordan Davis runs the offense and has a solid player lined up up in the backfield in Lorenzo Stewart. Davis is a recent commit to Louisiana-Lafayette while Stewart chose Nebraska over the summer. Defensively, linebacker Josh Mabin, and Oklahoma State pledge should have a good showing and Houston defensive end commit Javon Shelley is another player to watch.
