Fred Warner (6'3/205) of Mission Hills High School in San Marcos, Calif. helped his team pitch a shutout the first game of the season by contributing in a variety of ways including a blocked punt, interception, and forced fumble.

He lines up outside for Mission Hills and lacks the bulk to be a run stuffer at this point of his career, but he's a fluid athlete with a good frame that excels at rushing the passer, pursuit in the open field and dropping into coverage.

He is committed to play for the BYU Cougars, and here is a look at him in action from his first game of the season against Desert Vista (Ariz.).
